MANY PATIENTS WITH ALZHEIMER’S WILL UTLIZED SOME FORM OF LONG TERM CARE DURING THE COURSE OF THEIR DISEASE, PART OF THE DIFFICULTY IS THE PROCESS OF CHOOSING THE RIGHT FACILITY. Our Alzheimer’s wing is a complete, self-sufficient nursing division dedicated to providing specialized care for persons living with chronic and/or disabling dementia. Our overall design of openness promotes a respectful and pleasant experience with optimal mobility in a secure at home environment. The newly renovated dining room and day area allows the residents to freely go about their activities without a feeling of confinement. The enclosed outside courtyard will allow your loved one an extended independent environment where they can enjoy fresh air, and exercise. Making residents and families feel at home is our
goal. Therefore we encourage families to bring in personal items from home to promote a home-like environment. WILLOW CARE TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN SAYING WE PROVIDE MANY ADDITIONAL AMENITIES WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE.
Our staff is experienced in the Neighborhood philosophy, which emphasizes a person centered approach. An activity person specifically trained in dementia/Alzheimer-related illnesses will be a primary component of our care team.
